Board Training (Scotland) – Leading Health & Safety

Date:
Time: to
Location: Virtual

Our board training sessions have been designed with social landlords in mind. This session is specifically designed for board and management committee members in Scotland and provides an introduction to general health and safety and a more in-depth look at the requirements for tenant and resident safety.

The second part of the training focuses on the more specific ‘leading health and safety’ requirements that boards should be familiar with, including following the HSE’s guide and applying it to the social housing sector with the Plan Do Check Act approach.

We take consideration of Regulator requirements with regards to resident safety and provide some key pointers for boards to consider around governance and the ‘three lines of defence’ approach to assurance of compliance.

Delivered by an experienced board member and audit, finance & risk committee vice chair, you can be sure that our training in this subject hits the right note.
