Course Overview
This training course is designed to provide anyone whose work could foreseeably expose them to asbestos with sufficient knowledge to avoid putting themselves or others at risk, in line with regulatory requirements laid out in Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.
The training will be assessed through a combination of in-course questioning as well as via the practical exercises and a short multi-choice exam at the end of the day.

Learning Outcomes
This training course is designed to raise your awareness of asbestos and the materials it can be found in. The knowledge you gain from this training will aid in preventing you from accidentally disturbing asbestos and exposing yourself and others to asbestos fibres.
This course provides basic information relating to how asbestos should be managed within the workplace and detail the possible health effects that are associated with asbestos exposure.
This level of training DOES NOT provide you with the knowledge or skills to undertake any work with asbestos containing materials.
