Course Overview
This informative training course provides a detailed overview of the requirements of the CDM 2015 Regulations including the scope and application as well as setting out the specific duties of clients and other duty holder in relation to construction projects.
Clear information to define the health and safety requirements for constructions sites, including key documentation and notification requirements, provides delegates with a good overview of the application of construction, design and management in accordance with the Regulations.
The training also looks at the requirement for construction phase plans and health and safety files for construction projects.
This course will be held ‘Live Online’ on 30th September 2026, from 9.30am – 4.30pm (times are estimates and will depend on the interaction of delegates throughout).

This detailed training course is aimed at all delegates who require an understanding of the requirements of the CDM 2015 Regulations including the scope and application. The main topics include:
- Introduction to CDM 2015 and interpretation of:
- Scope, application, and key terminology
- Codes of practice
- Industry guidance
- Clients’ new duties and responsibilities
- The specific duties of and practical interactive duties of planning, managing, co-ordinating between the five duty holders, which are:
- Client
- Principal Designer
- Designer
- Principal Contractor
- Contractor.
- Overview of the general health and safety requirements for all construction sites
- Key documentation:
- Notification
- Pre-construction information
- Construction phase plan and the health and safety file.
Learning Outcomes
This virtual training session is delivered ‘live’ by our knowledgeable and professional trainer and is interactive, encouraging delegate participation, to ensure skills learnt will be able to be confidently applied in practice; there will be ample time for delegates to ask questions throughout the session.
CDM 2015 are the main set of regulations for managing the health, safety and welfare of construction projects. Delegates will gain information to widen their knowledge and understand the requirements of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, particular attention will be given to the key duty holders (Stakeholders) and their responsibilities and accountabilities.
An e-certificate of attendance and emailed copy of the slide presentation in a handy note format will be provided for all delegates who attended the session.
