Course Overview
We often talk about diversity in the workplace, but tend to overlook the benefits of our rich brain diversity, or as it’s better known; neurodiversity.
While the many different ways in which our brains work make us collectively ‘neurodiverse’, people referred to as ‘neurodivergent’ may have a neurological condition that causes them to think, feel or act in a non-typical way when compared to expected patterns in society. In the UK, this accounts for a significant 20% of us.
Typical workplace environments and practices can be hard for neurodivergent employees to navigate, often affecting productivity and wellbeing. Organisations that welcome and support all brain types, not only benefit from teams that are more rounded, innovative and successful… but from employees who are happy, healthy and able to fulfil their potential.
